Casual Part-time Warehouse Customer Service and Admin Clerk

We are currently seeking a casual part-time warehouse customer service and admin clerk who is providing quality service and support to the warehouse manager, its team, the Sydney office team and all other internal and external clients.  The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced working environment, have some experience in administration with a strong focus on quality customer service.  You must be a highly motivated, responsible, well-organised, proactive and people-focus person.  In addition, you must have good PC skills and possess maturity in dealing with stressful situations and pressures in a fast-paced work environment.

The position is from Monday to Friday (8 am - 2 pm).  You will be working within a close knit team of warehouse team and reports to Warehouse Manager. 

Job Tasks and Responsibilities 

Providing quality customer service and admin support mainly to the warehouse team through professional and efficient communication and assisting with clients' inquiries, data entry, other admin tasks and reception support in the Sydney office.

  • Providing comprehensive customer service and admin support to warehouse manager, its team and the Sydney branch office
  • Data entry using word, excel and cargowise on a daily basis
  • Answering incoming calls to Warehouse as the first point of contact in the warehouse
  • Attending all phone and email inquiries and complaints from clients
  • Organising transports 
  • Providing assistance to external visitors and service providers to KWE SYD
  • Assisting with other Sydney Office support duties
  • Assisting with monthly stationary order for warehouse or/and Sydney Office
  • Filling documents
  • Maintaining the warehouse office safe and clean
  • Reception duties - greeting and directing guests to the right internal staff members
  • Other relevant tasks requested by warehouse manager and the company

Skills and Experience

Essential Selection Criteria

  • 1-2 years' experience as an admin/customer service role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel and Word in particular)
  • Excellent communications skills (both in verbal and  written communications)
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as work independently
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
  • Good work ethics
  • Take initiatives
  • Understanding the importance of OHS


  • Knowledge and experience in Warehouse/Transport module in Cargowise EDI system
  • Previous experience in the warehouse and logistics industry
